What's on our mind....

  • Just finished editing a gorgeous maternity shoot.... they're a bit Facebook shy BUT they have allowed us to blog... ,

The Shaw’s {Large Family Portrait Photographer}

When my friend Rebecca replied to our Summer Special e-mail, saying that they were after some more family portraits, I was like ‘huh, what, you just had photos taken’…. then I realised that their last shoot was actually last March – almost a year ago! So it was time again for some more, and this time Bec’s brother, Dan, and partner Louise joined in the fun :) Bec’s 2 oldest kids haven’t changed too much (Will didn’t have a missing tooth this time :) ) but little Maddie has grown up so much – have a look at the last photo:

Thanks for organising more photos, Bec – same time next year :) xx

The gorgeous Sienna…. just 8 days new {Newborn Photographer Sydney}

I first met the Graham Family about this time last year, for portraits of their family of 3 – Amy, Evan and little Mia, who was almost 1 at the time. We had a beautiful shoot down by the water, and I think I fell just a little bit in love with Mia.  Well, fast forward 1 year, and Mia is an (almost) 2 year old big sister to the adorable Sienna Kate…. and yes, im just a little bit in love with her too.  We had a lovely relaxed newborn shoot, Sienna was an absolute pleasure to photograph, and Mia was an angel – she has so much love already for her new baby sister. Heres a bunch of my favourites from the shoot, starting with this cracker, straight from the new marco lens :)

Amy & Evan, your girls are just adorable, they’re going to grow up to be the best of friends! Looking forward to our next shoot together xxxx

Master Slater, at 8 days old….. {Newborn Photographer Sydney}

This time last year I met Renee & Steven, and their awesome boys, Cody & Mason, down by the beach at North Curl Curl (my favorite photo from their shoot is the photo for our Summer Special too!). This family are uber cool, and I was so excited when I heard that Renee was pregnant again with another little boy! I couldn’t wait to meet him, but more importantly, I was DYING to hear his name – I knew it was going to be something funky… I was right – Meet Slater:

Renee – little Slater is the coolest dude ever. Cant wait to see  him again, down by the beach, later in the year! Enjoy your new family of 5 xx

The Durnan Family {Family Portraits, Sydney}

Last Monday morning, we had a break in this crazy weather we’ve been having, and I managed to photograph Tracey and her family (yay for summer actually having sunshine!!) Tracey’s boys were a lot of fun – little Tyson wasnt to crash hot about me and my camera to begin with, but big brother Cooper made up for that (check out the photo of him swinging on his dad’s leg!).  Have a look at a few of my favourites from their portrait session last week:

Thanks again, Tracey, for organising your family photos with Tiger Lily Photography…. check your e-mail for links to your gallery & slideshow! :)

The Kummerfields! {Extended Family Portraits, Sydney}

I met up with the Kummerfield Family again just after Christmas – these guys live all over the world, and aren’t often all back ‘home’ together at the same time. So we had a possible 2 days for this shoot, luckily the temperamental Sydney weather we’ve been having lately held off for an hour or so – just long enough to capture this growing family…. last time I photographed them, Benjamin wasnt even a twinkle in Sarah or Matt’s eye – now he’s the star of the family….. have a look:

Hope you enjoy your photos Sarah – looking forward to catching up again next time you’re all back home – you never know, there may be another addition by then! :)
