Sueanne & Clements are (almost) married!! {Wedding Photographer, Sydney}
October 16, 2009 – 1:59 pm
The ‘uber fabulous’ photographer, Jenny Sun & I have been trying to arrange to catch up over coffee for a while now, and when she suggested meeting for lunch, and then shooting for the afternoon, I was excited! Jenny does a lot of ‘pre-wedding’ shoots in Sydney, (couples flying to Sydney to have wedding portraits taken by Jenny, before their big day), but all I could think of, was this poor girl was going to be wearing a wedding dress, in the unpredictable Sydney weather we’ve been having!
I think Sueanne did a fantastic job of not getting too ‘goosey’! Here they are, in our gorgeous city of Sydney:
Thanks Jenny for inviting me along, and good luck & congrats to Sueanne & Clements!!
Kylie & Michael are getting married!!! {Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer}
October 14, 2009 – 1:49 pm
Kylie & Michael are getting married next month in the GORGEOUS Hunter Valley. We met up again last Sunday for their E-shoot at one of my all time favourite locations (and to celebrate a year since they’ve been engaged!). I was a little worried that we’d have to re-schedule the shoot due to the yucky Sydney weather we’ve been having, but thankfully, I was wrong! We had some gorgeous light, especially at the end of the shoot.
Here are the future Mr & Mrs!
Something a little different:
Kylie was up for anything (and Michael pretty much went along with whatever Kylie wanted – what a great man!)
Cant have an engagement shoot without showing off some bling!
Kylie’s smile is contagious.
Check out the sun in these last 3 photos….. love it!!
Awesome guys! It was great to see you again! I hope you enjoyed your romantic ‘engagement anniversary’ dinner, and I cant wait to see you at the Hunter, in a few weeks time!! L. xx
Ps – just a note to all future Brides, we are still offering our no-obligation free engagement shoot – a chance to ‘try before you buy’. Call me on 0416 006 779 or e-mail lauren@tigerlilyphotography.com.au , to talk about your wedding photography.
Emma & Isla – twice as nice! {Sydney Twin Newborn Photographer}
October 8, 2009 – 7:38 am
Meet Emma & Isla, adorable 10 week old twins! Their mummy, Jodie, & I used to dance together years and years ago, and are ‘friends’ on Facebook (what would we do without facebook!). I was very excited when I found out that Jo was having twins! And 2 little princesses, how beautiful! Being twins, they had an eventful entrance into the world, and, at 10 weeks, were finally ready for their first photo shoot. Here is a few of my favourite photos:
Jo and Shane, your girls are just beautiful. And Jacob, you’re an awesome big brother!
Jo, it was great to see you again, after about 15 years!! Lets leave the next catch up not as long!
L. xx
The Norton Kids {Family Portrait Photographer, Sydney}
October 5, 2009 – 9:25 am
Alexa contacted me months ago, to organise a ‘surprise’ session, with her brother & sister, for her mums 50th birthday, which is in November. The first date we had planned was rained out
but last Thursday was just perfect. The day was nice & warm (bring on summer!!), and by the late afternoon / early evening, the sun was glorious, peeking thru the trees. Here is a preview of the Norton Kids – Sophie, Alexa & Sam:
And here they are striking a pose…..
Alexa rounding the twins up for a hug…..
Sam got into the spirit here, he even agreed to hold his sisters hand!
These next 2 are my favourite.
A quick wander around, to find a rustic barn like structure, and a barbed wire fence. And then the mozzies found us…..
It was great to meet you guys, enjoy your holidays, and a big happy birthday to your mum! I hope she enjoys the photos! xx
The Bailey Family (on a windy, windy day!) {Family Portrait Photographer}
October 1, 2009 – 1:20 pm
How windy was last Sunday!! I met the Bailey family at Parramatta Park for their family portraits, and by the end of the shoot, we were all sneezing and using words like ‘Telfast’ and ‘Claratyne’!! Us adults can take drugs like that, im not sure on the kids tho – I hope they were ok!
Anyway, introducing the Bailey’s…… Sarah, Rachel, Amy (+ 1), Max, Mark, Helen, Errol, Megan, Jarrad, Kate, Amelia, Lachlan, Simon & Rebecca:
Aren’t they great! Here they are again:
Thanks for a fun morning, Helen, it was great to meet you, and your awesome family! Go the Eels!
** Im getting a few enquiries at the moment for larger family portraits, while all the family is ‘home’ over Christmas. Just letting you know – I am available all holidays (weekdays & weekends), but spots are filling up fast – be quick!! **
** The Tiger Lily Photography Facebook Page has a new name: http://www.facebook.com/tigerlilyphotography – very easy to remember!! Please join!! **
