Baby Alexander – 8 days new {Sydney Newborn Baby Photographer}

A couple of weeks ago, I went to visit Kristy & Kieren, and their new baby boy (who has more hair than his daddy!) You may remember the KP’s from their maternity shoot down at Glebe….

Well, meet their own little creation…. Baby Alexander James!!

Poor mummy & daddy were already feeling the effects of sleep deprivation, and Kristy was still a little battered & bruised from the traumatic arrival of Alexander, so they didn’t want too many photos. Just a few for the thank you cards……. I like this one:

I love stealing photos of new daddy’s, when they’renot looking….

He’s gorgeous guys, another little boy that looks just like his daddy. Looking forward to another shoot, when you’re up and around more. xx

Lucas’s Naming Day {Sydney Functions Photographer}

Ive known Lucas’s mummy & daddy since year 7, which was 1991 (man, we’re getting old!). We all went right thru school together, were pretty good friends (if the photos I have of school camps & excursions are right!), and then we just kinda lost contact….. Renee & I started chatting on Facebook (yippie for Facebook!!) around the time that she was pregnant with Lucas, and I was pregnant with Tom. This continued, even after the boys were born, until one day, Renee suggested catching up for coffee. We promised ourselves that the next catch up would be by way of exercising (not sitting at Coffee Club eating scone’s & drinking coffee) to get rid of our baby weight, so, every Monday morning, Renee & I, along with the 2 boys in their prams, can be seen pounding the pavement around the local sports oval. Our friendship has re-developed, and I was honoured to be invited to Lucas’s naming day. My gift to them – photos of the day:

Big brother Riley was up on stage during the ceremony. I love this photo, not only because of Riley’s Wayne Cooper shirt, but because of the way Rob & Renee are standing. Seriously, these guys have been together since school, and they still cant keep their hands off each other. They’re gorgeous to watch.

Rob is in a band, and wrote & performed a song, especially for the occasion. It rocked. Rob rocks. And how cool that I know someone in a band!

Renee’s mum is a celebrant, and did an awesome job. Christine Mills can be contacted on 0408 433 880 for any: Weddings, Naming Days, Renewal of Vows, etc. She hails from around the Gold Coast, but is happy to travel! :)

Enjoy guys, and your slideshow, featuring Robs song, has been e-mailed to you! For any of Renee’s friends that would like a copy, please e-mail her :)   xx

A new family of 5. {Family Portrait Photographer, Sydney}

Yesterday I met a lovely family, who just love having their photo taken! Their whole house is filled with framed family photographs, and, thanks to the arrival of a new family member, it was time for some updated family portraits. Here is Tristan, who arrived back in June.

How cute is his little bum!!

Tristan has some pretty cute older sisters too….

…who love their new little brother….

After bubs fell into a nice, deep sleep, we went back inside for a few more photos of him.

Thank you for allowing me to capture your new family of 5 – im sure these photographs will fit in nicely along side all the others! You might need to move to a bigger house tho, ha ha :) (Their house is HUGE!). L. xx

Baby Jesse {Sydney Baby Photographer}

Baby Jesse’s mum, Hailee, contacted me after seeing her cousin Kelly’s little baby, Jonah, on my blog. Hailee was about 2 months off giving birth, so this shoot has been a long time coming! Jesse is the sweetest little thing, but unfortunately he was a little unsettled when I visited him the other week. We might do another shoot when he’s a little happier, but in the meantime, here are some photos from his first photoshoot (with big brother Mikey too!)

Last photo of the day….

Thanks for letting me photograph your gorgeous little man, Hailee. Looking forward to another cuddle soon!

Lauren. xx
