Baby Amelia {Sydney Newborn Baby Photographer}

Last Tuesday I met gorgeous, week and a bit old, Amelia, daughter of Lucy & Matt. Yes, a few weeks after our shoot, Lucy popped out a healthy, 3.8kg baby girl. Even tho im a mum, I still find it hard to believe that a human being can grow inside of a human being. That the belly below can house a bubba. I know, call me stupid, but it just blows my mind:

Anyway…. it was awesome to meet a little newborn baby girl, so many pregnant bellies are turning into boys at the moment – I kinda didnt know what to do with her! :) Hang on, yes I did – I bought out my fairy wings:

And then took some photos of Amelia with her mum and dad:

Then Amelia (read: MATT) needed a break:

The feet shot!

Whats her name again, Lucy?

What a cutie! She’s just adorable, Matt & Lucy. I hope you love your photos – check your in-box for a link to your slideshow! xx

Elise & Sean are married!! {Sydney Wedding Photographer}

Last Saturday was the most perfect winters day, with beautiful blue skies, and just a hint of breeze. It was a stunning day for Sean to wed his gorgeous fiance, Elise, surrounded by their awesome family & friends. We’d met each other a few times (one of which was their engagement shoot at Lake Parramatta), and, thanks to Facebook, I feel like I am part of their network of friends. Speaking of Facebook – this was Seans Status on Sunday morning: Had the best day of his life yesterday , thanks to everyone that came love u all. Pretty much sums it all up, hey!

On to the photos! The Gorgeous Elise….

Carley Bugeja from Peppermint Creak Photography came along with me to 2nd shoot. We had a ball! Its SO MUCH FUN shooting a wedding with another photographer – not only is there more time to get ‘the shot’ (Carley & I split for a while, she photographed the bridesmaides, while I shot bride, she was on close-ups while I was captured the whole scene, etc), but Elise & Sean end up with double the images they thought they’d receive! :) Win / Win! Anyway, you can see Carley’s images by the Watermark. This is one of hers:

Meet Taylor & Suze – Elise’s Bridesmaids. Elises Awesome Bridesmaids. So much fun!!

Carley captured Elise’s cute little smile so perfectly!

Off to church we go….

Father of the Bride (Anthony): ‘Ok, High Five’, Elise: ‘Im not high-fiving’! :)

Back to Elise’s dads property for some late afternoon location photos.

The day wouldn’t have been complete without Ollie & Hayley. They were so well behaved, they’re a credit to you guys!

What a party – you know its going to be a great night, when all the guests are on the dancefloor, by song 2!

Congratulations again on your wedding, Elise & Sean! Carley and I had so much fun, and can’t wait to hear about your honeymoon when you return. (PS – another comment from Sean, on Facebook, this time on my page: Thanks guys u were both great. Shame u cant come on honeymoon and take some hehe Ah, no.  xx

Lauren & Matt are engaged!! {Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer}

Meet Lauren & Matt. These guys would have to be one of the most organised couples you’ll ever meet. They’re both special-ed teachers (met at school, not uni), and LOVE travelling around our gorgeous country. So much so that they can tell you the trip they’re taking over the Chrissy Holidays, in 2015. Seriously. Their wedding is AGES away in the gorgeous Hunter Valley.  I asked them why it wasn’t until 2011 -  they’re just loving life right now, there is just to much to do before getting married! They’ve just bought their home,  have done up the van to travel around the country, have a gorgeous baby girl called Mya (a black & white spotty girl), and are just seriously cool people. And were up for anything. Check them out:

Lauren, Matt & the gorgeous Mya!

Love this one, the kiss, and then what happens next!

A black & white dog needed a black & white photo.

Cute, hey.

Now, Lauren & Matt haven’t yet picked me as their wedding photographer – they just took me up on my offer of a ‘no-obligation’ free engagement shoot, which im offering to brides & grooms that enquiry with me, for the next few months. I was planning on a quick, 1 hour shoot with Lauren & Matt…. um, 2 1/2 hours later we’re still shooting & chatting away!! Lauren & Matt get a free enlargement from this shoot, along with the option to buy prints, or the images on disc. Anyway, you’ll find out if they pick me to capture their special day, if you see their wedding photos on my blog in 2011! :)

Thanks for an awesome session, guys, I hope you love your photos! Check your in-box for a link to your slideshow too! :) xx

Elyssia’s Christening {Sydney Christening Photographer}

A few weeks ago I was asked to photograph little Elyssia’s christening. Ive known her mum and dad for some time now – you may remember seeing the newborn photos of Ellie, or their family portraits (in the bush!) last year. It was a gorgeous day for Ellie’s Christening, and a good chance to try out the new 5DmkII in a church! A few storyboards below:

Thanks for inviting me to be a part of your special day! xx
