Alison & Evan are almost parents! {Sydney Maternity Photographer}

These posts are a little out of order….. The day after Lucy & Matts Maternity Shoot, which was a gorgeous, warm & sun-kissed winters day, I headed out to meet Alison & Evan at a local park to shoot their pregnancy photos (Ally was due the following week, so time was of the essence!). Sydney ducked back into ‘mid-winter’ for this day, we had a few sprinkles of rain and everything! Needless to say, it was a quick shoot, as we all wanted to go back to the warmth of our homes asap! Here are some of the photos:

** Baby Rhys and his rock-star hair, was born last Thursday – mum and bub doing well!.

Enjoy this special time in your life, looking forward to meeting Rhys soon! Check your in-box for your slideshow of all the photos! :) L. xx

Baby Harry {Sydney Baby Photographer}

So….. Dorothy saw the newborn photos i’d taken of baby Harley at Aimee’s house, when Aimee hosted Lucy’s baby shower – Lucy & Dorothy are sister-in-laws (Dorothys husband, Stewart, and Lucy’s husband, Matt are brothers!). Dorothy & Aimee had their boys within 2 days of each other, same hospital (the SAN – best hospital in the WORLD!) – meaning Lucy only needed 1 trip to Wahroonga :) Anyway, Dorothy wanted some candid photos, showing off the new addition to their family. Have a look:

What a gorgeous family. Love the little grin from Harry!

Thought i’d try something different….

How cute!

I hope you enjoy your photos, Dorothy & Stewart – check your in-box for your slideshow! L. xx

Lucy & Matt are having a baby!! {Sydney Pregnancy Photographer}

When Aimee’s best friend Lucy saw the newborn photos i’d taken of little Harley, she phoned me to organise some maternity, and then some newborn photos for her. We met up a few weeks back – and as Sydney’s been putting on a show with gorgeous winter days, we headed to the park for some photos. Lucy was 35 weeks pregnant – isn’t she glowing:

Lucy & Matt still havent decided on a name for bubs, so their heads are constantly in baby name books. I thought this bottom photo was cute – Lucy trying to sneak a peak at Matts book!

A bit of flare – it was such a gorgeous day! Man, I love living here.

No show without Jess…. (Wonder how Jess is feeling about the new addition?!)

We went inside after these photos, for a few raunchy photos of Lucy, that I cant show you here… BUT we did get a few that I can. Lucy & Matt on the bed (as bubs keeps them up at night with all the kicking … not to mention Lucy’s million trips to the loo!)

And the funniest photo of the day – um, dont worry, its all baby weight! It will fall off as soon as the munchkin is here!

Enjoy your photos, Lucy & Matt (your slideshow has been e-mailed to you!), enjoy the next few weeks of peace & quiet, and I’ll see you in about a month, when bubs is here! L. xx

KP & KP are having a baby!! {Sydney Maternity Photographer}

You’d be forgiven for thinking that these photos are Engagement Photos. How awesome does Kristy look?! Hard to believe she’ll be giving birth in about 5 weeks…… (Greenpeace were already on the look out for a beached whale, when I was 35 weeks pregnant! :) ) And how in-love are Kristy & Kieren! They’re going to make unreal parents, I can just tell.

Anyway…. So Kristy & Kieren organised their maternity session to be shot down by the water at Glebe, which was a terrific idea, seeing they’ve got so many friends overseas (the K’s lived in London for a few years, and Kieren in New York before then too). Too bad last Saturday wasn’t one of the gorgeous sunny winter days we’ve been having, but at least you can still see the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Tower in some photos!

Here is a collection of my favourites:

As it was a yucky day, I decided to edit some of these photos using a few different techniques:

Kieren wanted to make sure I captured his cruiser in the backgroud of this one…. (dream on….)

Love this one.

KP & KP – totally cool.

I hope you love your photos, guys! It was awesome hanging out with you guys by the water! Looking forward to hearing about your special arrival in the next 5 or so weeks! Looking forward to your newborn photos! :) xx

Baby Jonah: 2 (and a bit) weeks old {Newborn Baby Photographer}

Introducing little Jonah! He made his much anticipated arrival into the world on Tuesday 16th June – which was his mummy’s birthday! Kelly, what an absolutely wonderful birthday present…. I know the last few months were pretty awful for you, and the birth wasn’t all you’d expected (Kelly is a size 6, and Jonah weighed 4.25kg – wholly moley!), but hey, I bet you wouldn’t send him back now, would you?!

Here are a few photos from our shoot last week:

Love the comparison between Jonah’s hand, and his mums fingers.

As you can tell from all the blue in the nursery – Kelly & Dean found out that Jonah was going to be a boy.

I couldn’t work out which photo of Kelly with her boy to post here – so you got 2 :)

This look could mean a million things!

Again, another dad ‘asked’ me if he could take his clothes off….

These next 2 are my favourites:

Thank you, Kelly & Dean, for allowing me to capture these special memories for you. Hope you love them, and I cant wait to photograph your growing family time and time again! :)

My birthday….

Today is my birthday. Its a big one – it ends in a ’0′. I celebrated with too much Moet on Saturday night, and then again with my school friends yesterday. (My school friend, Stuart, celebrated his birthday with me . He’s older than me – his birthday number finishes with a ’1′!). My dad took this photo of me with my Stu and Tom (aged 5 1/2 months) yesterday. You’re gunna put me out of business, dad, this photo is great!

Thanks to everyone that celebrated my birthday with me, and for the phone-calls, cards, and birthday messages, I had a terrific FOL’09 (Festival of Lauren 2009!). Stu wasnt so happy, the Eels didnt win! xx
