Free Engagement Session {Wedding Photographer}

My wedding packages have included a free ‘E-Session’ for a while now, and for the next few months, Im offering a free Engagement Shoot for any newly engaged couple, who are considering using Tiger Lily Photography to capture their special day.

What is an Engagement Shoot, I hear you ask? Its basically a ‘get to know you’ shoot for future brides & grooms and their photographer. Its a terrific opportunity to work out exactly the style of photography you’d like on your wedding day. And if you’re a little camera shy and dreading the whole idea of ‘wedding photos’ (hello most grooms out there!), this shoot should hopefully put you at ease, so you will be relaxed in front of the camera on the day. A lot of my brides and grooms are also using the images from the shoot for a guest book, or even a signature frame or slideshow at the wedding.

Call or e-mail now to book in your free e-shoot!!

Lauren.

Ps – The Facebook Saga lives on….. 2 weeks now, and I still haven’t been told why I was booted off….. HOWEVER, I have re-joined, and have a brand spanking new Tiger Lily Photography Page, and a new Lauren Walker profile! Look me up!

3 little girls {Sydney Child Photographer}

A few months ago, before the weather turned horrible, a few friends came over for a Sunday afternoon barbie. I wow’ed them with my fabulous cooking skills (ie – I didn’t cook a thing!) and then pulled the camera out to take a few photos of my friends gorgeous girls… The competition is on – who will marry Tom and be the next Mrs Walker?

Will it be gorgeous Michaela, who turned 1 back in  January, and who will be a big sister in October this year!

Or maybe Tahlia, who was born on my late Grandfathers birthday, last October:

The final contestant is sweet little Molly, born 11 days after Tom:

Well guess what, guys – Tom is sitting on my lap, and the biggest smile I got from him, was when Tahlia was on the screen, so guess what, Marty & Amanda – we’re going to be in-laws!!!! :)

See you guys soon. xx

Sophie the Fairy! {Sydney Childrens Photographer}

My regular blog readers will know that my girlfriends little girl, Sophie, just LOVES the camera. She’s a star. She knows just how to work it. And when Lisa bought a little fairy outfit for her, we knew it was time for some ‘action’ shots (and I mean ‘action’ – at 17 months, she doesnt sit still for long). See what I mean:

But when she is still, its just so darn cute:

Couldn’T resist taking a shot of the back of out outfit….

Hope you love the photos Lisa, I’ve e-mailed you the slideshow, with the special song! xx

Gorgeous afternoon light…. {Sydney Family Portrait Photographer}

Remember that Sunday a few weeks ago that, when you LOOKED outside, it appeared to be a gorgeous Autumn day, beautiful sunshine, light breeze, not a cloud in the sky? Do you remember what happened when you actually walked outside – it was freezing!! The wind was ferocious, straight up from Tassie. Brrrrr. I think we all came home from this shoot with colds, I know it knocked me for about a week, and I passed it onto Stu and Tom. Poor Tom, his first ‘real’ cold (tip – im inlove with Childrens Panadol – it makes them sleep like angels!)

Back to the shoot. Sharon wanted a few photographs of her gorgeous 2 year old, Tayla. Sharon is Alisons sister, you may remember Ali from my old blog – when she was pregnant (and here too), and then again once little Zoe was born. Well, Zoe is almost 1, and walking! Oh my gosh is she walking! Tayla is still trying to get used to her little cousin walking all over the place:

(so is her mum!)

Anyway, here are some more photos of the 2 sisters, and their girls. Oh, and Dan, Ali’s hubby came along for the ride too. (NOTE: DAN IS THE BEST IT-TECHNO-GEEK IN THE WHOLE WORLD. IF YOU EVERY NEED YOUR OWN NERD, CALL DAN ON 0404 012 361. HE ROCKS!)

One photo Sharon wanted was a sweet one of her and Tayla. Sharon, I cant pick between these 2 – I love them both!

Sharon is holidaying in Vietnam at the moment, you lucky thing! Cant wait to hear all about it soon! Hope you enjoyed the photos. xx

Life without Facebook….

For some unknown reason, my Facebook profile has been Disabled. Ive tried e-mailing them to ask why (I cant for the life of me work out how I breached any of their terms and conditions), but no answer as yet. This has affected both my Lauren Walker profile, and also my Tiger Lily Photography Page. So no, I haven’t gone out of business, i’ve just been booted off Facebook – reason unknown……

Till next time!

I still cannot for the life of me work out what I did – I truly think my account must have been hacked, as I would never do any of the above. Watch this space – im sure there will be more on the Facebook Saga.

** Another update, the lovely Gianna has e-mailed again:

Unfortunately, your account has been permanently disabled for violating Facebook’s Terms of Use. We will not be able to reactivate it for any reason, nor will we provide further explanation of your violation or the systems we have in place. This decision is absolutely final.
