Chantelle & Grant are engaged!! {Wedding Photography, Sydney}

Another wet & windy Sydney winters day….. I met Chantelle & Grant on Monday down at Bradleys Head, Mosman, for some pre-wedding photos.  They told me they weren’t afraid of the rain – they’d seen Erin & Seans engagement photos in the rain in March, but just as we walked down towards the water, we could see the rain coming thru the heads, pelting down, and decided to pull the pin, and go and have a coffee and a ‘dotty cookie’ (did I get that right, Chantelle?) at Mosman instead. An hour later, the rain had all but gone, and we had some lovely late afternoon light down by the water, on Sydney Harbour.

Meet Chantelle & Grant:

Chantelle & Grant are friends of Verity & Jay – Grant & Jay are both jockey’s, and Chantelle & Verity are both horse trainers…… im sensing the world of horse racing & training is just like every other industry – everybody knows everybody :) Anyway, a big thank you to Verity for passing on my details to Chantelle!

(work it)

How gorgeous & inlove are these 2 – im looking forward to their wedding next February.

We went for a little walk around the corner a bit, onto the sand. We lasted for about 2 minutes, as the tide was coming in. And boy, it was coming in.

A little cheeky (get it….)

Grant & Chantelle – the future Mr & Mrs. How cute are these guys?

Back to the water for some fun.

Thanks for coming out in the cold & rain, guys, it was awesome to meet you, and im looking forward to shooting your wedding next year! xx

Enjoy! xx

Emma & James are married! {Sydney Wedding Photographer}

A couple of Fridays ago, I second shot a gorgeous wedding at Athol Hall with the awesome Fiona King from Polly Street. What an amazing venue, and Emma & James were blessed with the most magical autumn day – as I was driving to Mosman, I had the windscreen wipers on and off a little, but when Fiona & I turned up, the clouds disappeared and the late afternoon sunshine was just gorgeous. Actually the whole day was just gorgeous – heres a few of my favourites, starting with some simple yet stunning details of the day:

How cute is this place!

To make the wedding extra special, James’s dad, a Uniting Church Minister, married the happy couple.

Doing the ring thing….

Love this shot of the kids NOT watching the bride & groom!

The guests enjoying the gorgeous late afternoon sunshine.

Down to the water for the location photos…..

Taking advantage of the last bit of light……

Thanks, Fiona, for having me 2nd shoot with you, and to Emma & James – all the best for married life! Keep dancing and laughing with each other, like your first dance, and you’ll be together forever.
