Lucas’s Naming Day {Sydney Functions Photographer}

Ive known Lucas’s mummy & daddy since year 7, which was 1991 (man, we’re getting old!). We all went right thru school together, were pretty good friends (if the photos I have of school camps & excursions are right!), and then we just kinda lost contact….. Renee & I started chatting on Facebook (yippie for Facebook!!) around the time that she was pregnant with Lucas, and I was pregnant with Tom. This continued, even after the boys were born, until one day, Renee suggested catching up for coffee. We promised ourselves that the next catch up would be by way of exercising (not sitting at Coffee Club eating scone’s & drinking coffee) to get rid of our baby weight, so, every Monday morning, Renee & I, along with the 2 boys in their prams, can be seen pounding the pavement around the local sports oval. Our friendship has re-developed, and I was honoured to be invited to Lucas’s naming day. My gift to them – photos of the day:

Big brother Riley was up on stage during the ceremony. I love this photo, not only because of Riley’s Wayne Cooper shirt, but because of the way Rob & Renee are standing. Seriously, these guys have been together since school, and they still cant keep their hands off each other. They’re gorgeous to watch.

Rob is in a band, and wrote & performed a song, especially for the occasion. It rocked. Rob rocks. And how cool that I know someone in a band!

Renee’s mum is a celebrant, and did an awesome job. Christine Mills can be contacted on 0408 433 880 for any: Weddings, Naming Days, Renewal of Vows, etc. She hails from around the Gold Coast, but is happy to travel! :)

Enjoy guys, and your slideshow, featuring Robs song, has been e-mailed to you! For any of Renee’s friends that would like a copy, please e-mail her :)   xx

Elyssia’s Christening {Sydney Christening Photographer}

A few weeks ago I was asked to photograph little Elyssia’s christening. Ive known her mum and dad for some time now – you may remember seeing the newborn photos of Ellie, or their family portraits (in the bush!) last year. It was a gorgeous day for Ellie’s Christening, and a good chance to try out the new 5DmkII in a church! A few storyboards below:

Thanks for inviting me to be a part of your special day! xx
