Hello

Thanks for finding my blog!

This is where I (try to) post images and information from my recent shoots. If you see something you like, please leave me a comment. Or if you see someone you like in the photos, please leave them a comment (he he)

Want to know more about me: I am a wife, a new mummy, a coffee drinker, a really bad singer, a lazy cleaner, a fantastic driver (just ask my husband....), a card sender, a wine lover, a Grey's Anatomy fan, a Facebook addict, a dog lover, a book reader, a terrible cook, a secret keeper, a twistie eater, a former cheerleader - so an ok dancer, a plane phobic, a TV watcher, a homebody, a best friend, a computer nut, a saver, a spender, a dreamer.... and a photographer.

Anything else you'd like to know?

3 week old Harley {Newborn Baby Photographer}

Last Thursday, I got the meet the gorgeous Harley James, aged just 3 and a bit weeks old. I had forgotten what the little baby cry was like, and this little guy was still smaller than Tom when he was born! So cute! Here are a few favourites from the shoot (with the new camera, oh my gosh, I just love my new camera!).

My absolute favourite of the day. Aimee, this one needs to be enlarged and framed!

Big brother Kai snuck into a few photos too.

When I was editing this photo (and a few others, with shirtless Vahan) Stu walked in and said ‘what, you asked him to get his kit off’. No darling, he offered…. LOVE my job :)

Whats his name again, Aimee?

When doing a newborn shoot, I e-mail thru a list of things I need for the shoot to the mum - one of them is that the parents bed is made, and the room warm & tidy.  Aimee went one further, and actually went out and bought new bedroom furnishings for the shoot…. A mum of 2 boys, one of them 3 weeks old, and she’s out picking new lamps, curtains and doona covers for the shoot. You’re awesome, Aimee.

Little Harleys feet - so cute!

Thank you, Aimee & Vahan, for allowing me into your home, to capture these special memories for you. I hope you love them, as much as I loved taking & editing them. See you soon. XX

Elise & Sean = Engaged!! {Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

The Sunday before last, I met Sean & Elise down by the lake, for some Engagement Photos. It was a dark and gloomy day, we had to stop once for a rain break, and then finished the shoot just in-time, before the heavens opened! Looking at these photos now, I was really glad Elise wore a bit of hot pink, to spice things up!

Here are a few favourites from the day, and I cant wait for your wedding in August, guys! :)

You can see the rain in this next one:

Work it, Elise!

They bought the family for a few photos too - Ollie & Hayley. Cant wait to see them all dressed up in their wedding gear!

I think this last one would have to be my favourite!

Thanks for coming out in the rain, guys, see you both real soon! xx

Free Engagement Session {Wedding Photographer}

My wedding packages have included a free ‘E-Session’ for a while now, and for the next few months, Im offering a free Engagement Shoot for any newly engaged couple, who are considering using Tiger Lily Photography to capture their special day.

What is an Engagement Shoot, I hear you ask? Its basically a ‘get to know you’ shoot for future brides & grooms and their photographer. Its a terrific opportunity to work out exactly the style of photography you’d like on your wedding day. And if you’re a little camera shy and dreading the whole idea of ‘wedding photos’ (hello most grooms out there!), this shoot should hopefully put you at ease, so you will be relaxed in front of the camera on the day. A lot of my brides and grooms are also using the images from the shoot for a guest book, or even a signature frame or slideshow at the wedding.

Call or e-mail now to book in your free e-shoot!!

Lauren.

Ps - The Facebook Saga lives on….. 2 weeks now, and I still haven’t been told why I was booted off….. HOWEVER, I have re-joined, and have a brand spanking new Tiger Lily Photography Page, and a new Lauren Walker profile! Look me up!

3 little girls {Sydney Child Photographer}

A few months ago, before the weather turned horrible, a few friends came over for a Sunday afternoon barbie. I wow’ed them with my fabulous cooking skills (ie - I didn’t cook a thing!) and then pulled the camera out to take a few photos of my friends gorgeous girls… The competition is on - who will marry Tom and be the next Mrs Walker?

Will it be gorgeous Michaela, who turned 1 back in  January, and who will be a big sister in October this year!

Or maybe Tahlia, who was born on my late Grandfathers birthday, last October:

The final contestant is sweet little Molly, born 11 days after Tom:

Well guess what, guys - Tom is sitting on my lap, and the biggest smile I got from him, was when Tahlia was on the screen, so guess what, Marty & Amanda - we’re going to be in-laws!!!! :)

See you guys soon. xx
